After a short briefing on paddling and safety rules, we start our 16 km downstream trip. <\/p><p data-start=\"552\" data-end=\"804\">Today&#8217;s stage leads through a varied landscape with calmly flowing water, narrow river bends and the first small rapids. There is plenty to discover &#8211; birds, traces of beavers and, with a bit of luck, wild animals on the banks. <\/p><p data-start=\"806\" data-end=\"1032\">In the afternoon, we set up camp in a beautiful spot right by the river. We prepare dinner together, collect firewood and enjoy the tranquillity of the wilderness around the campfire in the open air. We spend the night in the laavu or in a tent.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ddef286 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ddef286\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3 data-start=\"84\" data-end=\"137\">Day 2: Pure nature &#038; rapids &#8211; to Viitakoski<\/h3><p data-start=\"1114\" data-end=\"1441\">After breakfast and dismantling the camp, we continue downstream towards Viitakoski. The stretch of about 15 km remains wild and romantic and offers new scenic impressions. Again and again we paddle through calm passages, followed by small, easy rapids.  <\/p><p data-start=\"1443\" data-end=\"1679\">The Kaksinkantaja rapids are the highlight of the day: those who want to can paddle them in a boat (previous experience and courage required) &#8211; everyone else will be carried around safely. Today, too, we set our own pace and take plenty of breaks. <\/p><p data-start=\"1681\" data-end=\"1856\">In the afternoon we reach the exit at Viitakoski, where we are picked up.
