Add wool, thermal or fleece socks \u2013 ideally two pairs worn on top of each other for extra warmth. <\/li><li> <strong>Mid Layer (You bring this with you): <\/strong>Lightweight fleece clothing, such as a pullover and long underwear, provides additional insulation.<\/li><li> <strong>Insulating Layer (You bring this with you):<\/strong> Depending on your needs and the temperature, a thicker pullover or fleece jacket, and possibly a second pair of fleece trousers, provide additional protection against the cold.<\/li><li> <strong>Outer Layer (You bring this with you): <\/strong>A windproof and waterproof jacket and trousers, or a lined overall with a hood.
