Our Kitchen: The Culinary Heart of Eräkeskus

In our kitchen, everything revolves around a love of good food. We’ll treat you to delicious 2- and 3-course meals that we always adapt to the season and, whenever possible, prepare with fresh ingredients from local producers.

We love surprising you with regional specialties as well as dishes from our home countries. That’s why you’ll find both the traditional Finnish “Karjalan Paisti” (Karelian stew) and a classic “Wiener Schnitzel” on our menus. Diversity is a top priority for us, and of course we also create delicious dishes for vegetarians and those with food allergies.

We serve dinner partly at the table and partly as a lavish buffet. Look forward to salmon, and—depending on availability— moose or reindeer as well. Be sure to try our traditional Karelian delicacies, such as our hearty pierogies and our fragrant desserts!

Our bread comes fresh from our own bakery: Whether it’s braided bread, whole-grain bread, or white bread—there’s plenty of variety!

In the summer, our barbecue evenings on the porch or at the Grillkota right by the lake are especially popular. The salmon cooked over an open fire is always an absolute highlight.
